Harvested in the Ngozi and Muyinga regions of Burundi, this coffee comes from smallholder farmers and is processed at one of nine washing stations operated by Bugestal.
Rigorous quality control at multiple stages ensures it truly represents Burundi, one of Africa’s emerging specialty coffee powerhouses.
This Natural processed coffee is dried with the cherry (fruit) still intact around the bean, taking 3–4 weeks. This longer drying time increases sugar content, resulting in a sweeter cup with a more pronounced flavour profile.
